SBMG – short for Sawtu Boys Money Gang – is one of the most influential and recognisable acts on the Dutch urban scene. Together, Chivv and Henkie T form a duo that represents more than just music. They met in a small square in the Bijlmer, went to the same secondary school and were already releasing music together at the age of fifteen. SBMG stands for ambition, independence, perseverance and achieving success against all odds. And success did come for the duo from Kraaiennest: ‘Oeh Na Na’ became an internet hit, a club favourite and grew into a cultural icon. From that moment on, nobody could ignore them.
