Police Warnsveld is a Dutch-language ska-punk band making uncompromising pop music about how beautiful life is and how fucked the world can be. At breakneck speed, Popo Warra is carving out its own path through the music landscape, flipping a big middle finger to pretension and taking everyone along for the ride.
In 2024, they won the Roos van Nijmegen, and since then, no festival tent or concert venue has been safe. During Popronde 2025, they consistently played to packed venues, with queues stretching far beyond the doors. By now, they’ve already torn through stages at venues including De Melkweg, Doornroosje, Luxor Live and Metropool. At Noorderslag 2026, they closed out the night, while their Was Het Nou Maar Zo EP release tour sold out in no time. Last summer, they played countless festivals, including Lowlands, Into The Great Wide Open and Zwarte Cross.
Now Police Warnsveld is taking it one step further: a debut album! A record made for and by a generation caught between hope and despair. Featuring a contemporary ska-punk sound that feels both familiar and fresh: energetic, uncompromising and packed with melodies that refuse to let go. Backed by a live show that makes everything they’ve done before look almost small. No mercy — just a bigger stage, more noise, more music, more Police Warnsveld.
