néomí is the moniker for folk-pop singer-songwriter Neomi Speelman who writes authentic and sincere stories backed by dreamy soundscapes inspired by the classic songwriters, old and new alike. Her main influences stem between Bon Iver, Bob Dylan, and hero Ben Howard.
Her debut album ‘somebody’s daughter’ was released on May 3rd, 2024 and was supported by a headline tour in The Netherlands, London show at Old Blue Last and a performance at Best Kept Secret Festival with media outlets 3voor12 and De Volkskrant highlighting ‘somebody’s daughter’ as one the albums of the year so far. Album singles ‘so i let you (15th of june – evening)’, ‘garden’ and title track ‘somebody’s daughter’ have received support from Steve Lamacq, Jo Whiley, Edith Bowan and Craig Charles at BBC Radio in the UK as well as Radio 1 in BE and NPO Radio 2 and 3FM in NL. She has already supported and toured with SYML, Novo Amor, Matt Corby and Jonathan Jeremiah on their European dates.
As the summer progresses fans can look forward to a string of extra dates which include Sziget Festival in Budapest, 2 x support shows with HAEVN in Paris and Antwerp as well as another tour of The Netherlands in before the end of the year.
