These past years Lucky Done Gone has been steadily paving his path towards being a permanent fixture in the dj-scene. His contagious and energy driven sets friendly vibe and connecting powers have not been going unnoticed, even far beyond the Dutch borders. Besides show-packed weekends in The Netherlands, Lucky played France, Germany, Lithuania and he also did an Asia-tour at the beginning of 2024.
With a unique blend of energy, passion, and technical skill, Lucky Done Gone consistently captivates his audience. His sets are a mixture of eternal sounds: house, 90’s techno, 00’s trance, Leftfield and anything fresh for the dancefloor he just dug up. Bringing the crowds modest vibes, but also the more emotional side of things. Ever since his first introduction to the audience, the special connection between the crowd and Lucky Done Gone has only grown stronger.
2024 has been a special year so far; touring Asia, followed by a tour around the Netherlands with TLM (Tjade, Lucky Done Gone, Moody Mehran) that visited renowned concert halls like Paradiso and 013, and sold-out faster than they would have ever dreamed of. The rest of the year was looking bright too, with a summer filled with festivals like The Crave, Ohm, Down the Rabbit Hole, Orbit Festival, ZeeZout Festival, and, last but not least, the Bravo tent at Lowlands.
As a producer Lucky Done Gone has worked hard on his own music these past years. This has led to releases on DGTL Records in '22 and '24, his Brainwave EP on Paradiso Vinyl Club (2023) and a remix for Brass Rave Unit (2024). With more releases in the planning, this part of Lucky’s path is set to see more highlights in the future.
In 2022 Lucky Done Gone set-up his own platform ‘Modus’ at club Parallel on the north side of Amsterdam. It’s here that he can connect people and show his diverse musical taste in multiple ways, which goes far beyond ‘just’ house and techno. Looks like you don’t have to try hard to see or hear Lucky Done Gone, as he will be around almost everywhere this coming year.
