FISH

FISH

Derek William Dick became known as singer and songwriter Fish of neo-progressive rock group Marillion. He wrote history in the 1980s with the mega-success of songs ‘Kayleigh’ and ‘Lavender’. Together the band toured for seven intense years, during which the tall Scotsman often wrote heavy and complex lyrics full of symbols and imagery. This would remain a constant later when he went solo, even if he began to focus more on folk and pop songs.
