Equalz is the Rotterdam-based rap duo consisting of Stylez and AlwaysBizzy. United by their shared love of hip-hop, dancehall and Caribbean influences, they developed a distinctive sound that brings together melody, energy and the raw dynamics of Rotterdam.
In 2016, Equalz made their definitive breakthrough with the EP Update, featuring the successful single Casablanca. Since then, the duo has grown into an established name within the Dutch urban scene. Tracks such as Op De Weg, Zo Nice and Stop Met Typen are characteristic of Equalz’s sound and identity.Their strong connection to Rotterdam is an important part of who they are and can be heard and felt throughout both their music and their image. Over the years, the duo has continued to evolve musically without losing sight of their distinctive style.
Equalz is currently fully focused on creating new music. With recent releases such as Be Happy and Baddies Club, Stylez and AlwaysBizzy are making their presence felt once again and continuing their musical journey.
